WYCMA FAQs

Where is the center located? 

Afterschool programs offered during the school year take place on the campus of Eagle Point Elementary School  and the Weston Regional Park Community Center in Weston, FL.

Is this program run by Eagle Point Elementary?

NO. The Weston Youth Center for Musical Arts is an independent music program that operates on the campus of Eagle Point Elementary School. The program does not officially represent Eagle Point, but does employ and teach members of the EPE community, as well as the greater Weston community.

How do we sign up?

For the Fall 2024 Session 1 and 2, you must fill out the registration form found on our Programs page. Or follow this link:

Students registering for Chorus or Band will need to fill out a short, additional registration form via the City of Weston website due to taking place at the Weston Regional Park Community Center (link provided after completing registration on the WYCMA website).

How much are the Program fees?

The Fall 2024 Session 1 is a 6-week session. Each of the four programs (Chorus, Jr. Rhythm Masters, Rhythm Masters, and Band) meet once per week and the full session is priced at $150This covers the entire 6-week session.

The Fall 2024 Session 2 is a 7-week session. The full session is priced at $170This covers the entire 7-week session.

How do you pay the Session fee?

Session Payments for the Jr. Rhythm Masters and Rhythm Masters can be made through the bank service Zelle, using our email address as the recipient contact information: admin@westonycma.com

We can also accept payments through Venmo using our ID @WestonYCMA or QR Code:

If you choose Venmo, please add a service fee of $3.60.

​

Session payments for Chorus and Band will be made through the City of Weston website (links provided after registration) due to taking place at the Weston Regional Park Community Center.

Where can band students rent/buy instruments?

To rent instruments, we recommend using the store/company All County Music. Click on the RENT tab from their main page here:

How does drop off and pick up work?

Monday Programs at Weston Regional Park:

Students can be dropped off from their car and picked up at the entrance to the Community Center. You may also walk them into the center.

Tuesday Programs at Eagle Point Elementary:

Students who participate in the EPE Aftercare program/Camp Wannado will be picked up and dropped off by staff at the Main Office of the Eagle Point campus.

**Eagle Point Students in the 3:00pm Tuesday session who are not a part of the EPE Aftercare program, have the option of staying at Eagle Point under the supervision of one of our staff members for snack and homework time from 2:00-3:00pm at No Extra Cost.**

You can request this service in the online registration form.

Students being driven to their rehearsal are to be dropped off and picked up in the car line lane at the front of Eagle Point Elementary School. They will be picked up at the front office by WYCMA to begin class, and escorted to the covered, car line area after class. Students must be picked up within 15 minutes of the end of class.
